Consultations on the second shipment are underway, notifies Russian Embassy in Pakistan
Russia has delivered the first batch of LPG to Pakistan.
The confirmation was made by the Russian Embassy in Pakistan on Wednesday.
“Russia has delivered the first batch of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the amount of 100 thousand metric tons to Pakistan through Iran’s Sarakhs Special Economic Zone. Consultations on the second shipment are underway,” the Russian embassy said.

The embassy did not provide details on Iran’s involvement, and it was not immediately clear how much the LPG cost or if it was discounted.
This marks Islamabad’s second major Russian energy purchase after Pakistan received its first-ever delivery of Russian crude under a deal struck between the two countries earlier this year.
As reported, Pakistan paid for the Russian crude in Chinese currency but the value of the deal was never disclosed.
