Samsam Bukhari leaves PTI, condemns May 9 incidents

Samsam Bukhari held a meeting with Jahangir Tareen and expressed his decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

In another setback to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) as Samsam Bukhari has left the party, condemning May 9 incidents.

Former provincial minister Samsam Bukhari announced his decision on Tuesday in a video message and condemned the May 9 incidents.

“The country and these institutions belong to us and we will have to jointly work,” he said, adding, “I have neither believed in violence nor it is the way.”

 

As reported, Samsam Bukhari held a meeting with Jahangir Tareen and expressed his decision to join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

IPP central leaders Aon Chaudhry and Nauman Langrial were also present at the meeting.

Sources said that former provincial minister Samsam Bukhari will formally announce his joining the IPP at a press conference.
