Scavenger women were stripped naked, beaten and filmed in Faisalabad on allegations of theft, it emerges on Tuesday.

Another inhumane incident was reported from Punjab’s city of Faisalabad where a shopowner beat scavenger women over theft allegations, stripped them naked, and filmed them from mobile-phone, making the videos viral on social media.

The incident occurred in the ​​Millat Town area of Faisalabad where two women who had come to pick up paper were tortured by shopkeepers, making immoral videos and spreading them on social media.

According to the police spokesperson, the affected women have requested the police that they had gone to the Millat Town area to pick up the paper, where they entered an electric store for drinking water.

According to the police, Saddam, the owner of an electric store, and three other employees took locked the women in the shop on charges of theft and continued to torture them. Where they were stripped naked and the accused continued to make videos of the naked women.

According to police, three suspects, including the owner of an electric store, were taken into custody on a tip-off from locals, while four nominees and eight unidentified persons were arrested on the orders of CPO Faisalabad for detaining and torturing women.

A case was also registered against him.
