Senior politician Syed Pervaiz Shah passes away
Senior politician Syed Pervaiz Shah Jillani passed away on Thursday after a prolonged illness.
Former federal minister and a close aide of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto breath his last in Khairpur on Thursday.
He created history in 1988 when he defeated Pir Pagara with a huge margin as a PPP candidate.
He suffered years in jail during General Zia’s Martial Law.
Taking to social media, Shahzeb Jillani announced the sad news of his father’s demise.
My father, Syed Pervaiz Ali Shah, passed away at his home in Khairpur last night. He was a generous human being, a loving father, a former parliamentarian and a life long Scout leader. He'll be buried at our family graveyard in Khairpur. Plz keep him in your prayers 🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/5ymDDt0nf2
