Shayan Ali was briefly detained and then released by London police
Police arrested PTI supporter Shayan Ali outside PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s residence Avenfield apartments in London on Friday night.
A scuffle broke out between PMLN & PTI supporters after which the police asked the supporters to end the protest in front of Avenfield flat.
PTI supporters gathered outside Nawaz Sharif’s London residence and launched a protest to show solidarity with the PTI long march that kicked off in Lahore on Friday.

The police apologised to me and released me only a few minutes after detaining me. I was NOT arrested. If anyone spreads fake news falsely claiming I was arrested I will take legal action. Justice has prevailed!
