Shibli Faraz survives assassination attempt near Darra Adam Khel

Shibli Faraz has survived near Darra Adam Khel on Sunday evening.

According to details, the senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Federal Minister for Science and Technology Senator Shibli Faraz was ambushed in attacked in Dara Adam Khel on his way to Peshawar.

He was on his way from his ancestral town of Kohat to Peshawar city.

As armed assailants fired shots at his car, the window glassed were left shattered.

Senator Shibli Faraz’s bodyguard and driver were injured in the attack and were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Speaking to the media, Shibli Faraz said that he was safe but his driver and bodyguard were injured. 

As being reported the injured driver was shifted to Peshawar for treatment.
