Two terrorists carried out a bomb attack in front of the ministry buildings in Ankara, Türkiye on Sunday.
- One of the terrorists detonated his vest, while the other was neutralized.
- In the exchange of fire, two police officers sustained injuries.
Ali Yerlikaya, the Turkish interior minister, said on X-platform that two police officers were slightly injured in the incident at 9:30 am (0630 GMT).
He added that one blew himself up and the other was “neutralised”, which usually means was killed. “Our struggle will continue until the last terrorist is neutralised,” Yerlikaya wrote.

Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the terrorist attack, reports Anadolu Agency.
