YouTuber Adil Raja is reported to have been arrested in London.
The government had earlier filed various complaints against the controversial social media activist and YouTuber Adil Raja in the UK.
The latest of the reports was regarding the riots of May 9, which were sparked after the PTI chief was arrested from the Islamabad High Court under a £190 million settlement case.
The exact reason for his arrest has not been made clear yet.
As per the news source, the development comes as a case was registered against him at Ramna Police Station in Islamabad on Tuesday.
A former army officer Adil Raja is known for running a YouTube channel named ‘Soldier Speaks’ where he often criticizes Pakistan Army and its agencies.
Raja’s channel on a video streaming service was recently banned for spreading false information.
In April 2022, Raja disappeared from Pakistan but emerged in the United Kingdom a few days later.
He had been in the UK ever since.
