Andy Murray gets his stolen wedding ring and shoe back!
Andy Murray who is preparing to play at Indian Wells in California for the first time since 2017, where he was granted a wildcard to compete had lost his wedding ring which he had tied to a shoe.
The tennis player’s pair of tennis shoes were stolen on Thursday which he had hidden underneath his car outside of a hotel in Indian Wells, California.
In a social media post on Friday, Murray revealed that he got his ring and shoes back after making “a few calls” and chatting with the hotel’s security team. He then held up his wedding band, which was still tied to the shoelaces of his sneakers, for the camera.
“Would you believe it? It still absolutely stinks, but the shoes are back,” he added.
“The wedding ring is back, and I’m back in the good books. Let’s go!”
