Mohammad Asif’s controversial statements in X-space ignite the internet!
A controversial space was held on Saturday night where Mohammad Asif also joined the conversation, also featuring a few journalists as well.
And the cricket talk all went venomous about the current Paistan squad and ex-cricketers.
There were a few absurd claims made by Mohammad Asif as he said that he played a pivotal role in selecting Babar Azam during cricket trials when the Pakistan skipper was just starting his career
Here are a few controversial statements that the former pacer made in last night’s space:

– “We have all average bowlers in the squad; there’s none special.”

– “We don’t have a choice right now to replace Babar Azam as captain. Shahid Afridi is trying for Shaheen Afridi to become captain, but it’s not easy.”
– “Shaheen Afridi shouldn’t play against small teams like Nepal. I never played against teams like West Indies and Bangladesh in my career. A fast bowler needs rest to prolong his career. These days bowlers play league cricket a lot because money is involved.”
– “I don’t consider Agha Salman as a player; he’s a waste of time. Even I can score the number of runs he scores. He only scores when Pakistan has already scored a lot of runs as a team.”
– “I can bowl a maiden over to Babar Azam in T20 cricket even today; he cannot hit the ball if you bowl good deliveries to him.”
– “The PCB offered me a post in the National Cricket Academy for 11 Lac a month. I told them I earned 11 Lac a week in the USA. Give me what they are giving Mickey Arthur. I asked them for 45 Lac a month.”
– Asif also called many players “parchi’s” and part of the lobby.
