Rizwan consolidates his position as the top run scorer of Pakistan Super League’s eighth edition so far!
Multan Sultans’ captain, Mohammad Rizwan, smashed his maiden PSL century on Wednesday against Karachi Kings at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Redefining consistency in the T20 format as an opener, Rizwan created history as he took only 18 balls to get to his hundred from fifty, completing his century in just 60 balls.
It is the fastest 50 to 100 acceleration by any Pakistani batter in PSL history.
He finished with an unbeaten 110-run inning from 64 balls, to help his team reach 196-2 in 20 overs.
In his last 10 T20 innings, Rizwan has scored six fifties and a century.
The wicketkeeper-batsman is currently the highest run-scorer in this season with 329 runs at an average of 109.66 and a strike rate of 144.
