Some rumors were ripe claiming a rift between the two key Pakistan cricket team players.
Reports had been doing rounds on various platforms claiming that captain Babar Azam and pacer Shaheen Afridi were not on the same page, as they had arguments after Pakistan’s loss to Sri Lanka in a knockout Super-4 fixture of Asia Cup 2023 last week.

While rumor mills are busy spewing nonsense, the Pakistan men’s team now shifted their focus to the World Cup to be played in India next month after missing out on qualifying for the final of the Asia Cup.
As reported, the selection, committee led by Inzamam-ul-Haq, has finished the green squad after consultations with Babar Azam and the announcement of the 15-man team for the ICC World Cup 2023 will be made soon.
Pakistan is scheduled to play a total of eleven matches in the World Cup, with four of them, including two warm-up matches and two group games, scheduled to take place in Hyderabad.
