Twitter reacts to news of Mickey Arthur likely to be Pakistan’s first ‘online’ coach!

It was reported a day earlier that Mickey Arthur will be the first-ever online head coach of a national team.

Arthur will pick and choose his series, and will most probably deliver online lectures in upcoming ICC events including World Cup this year and T20 World Cup next year.

However, the sources claim that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would appoint Arthur as “team director” instead of head coach.

Arthur who led Pakistan to its first-ever ICC Champions Trophy in 2017, will be the team director and look after all matters.

The former Pakistan coach will not be available to the national side during the English county season, according to the expected contract.

Arthur will be with the team for the ODI World Cup 2023 and Australia tour, the source said.

While we wait for the official confirmation, cricket fans are having a ball on social media over the reports of Pakistan getting the first ‘online’ coach!

The Twitter timeline explodes with memes!
