Game of Thrones season 8 is expected on HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2019.
Incredible care has been taken by HBO and the production team for keeping spoilers under wraps for the expected final season 8. As the sets are being guarded as high alert areas. But some of the scenes are being filmed at extremely large sets, where nothing much can be done to protect the privacy.
A video was posted by Steven McAuley on Facebook @ Watchers on the Wall showed the Winterfell set on fire. And not ‘someone fetch the Maester and a bucket of water’ on fire, but ‘very probably burning to the ground’ on fire, as quoted by the GOT fan.
This happened at the Moneyglass estate location in Northern Ireland few days ago, where a crucial scene was being filmed for the series episode. This particular location serves as the location of Stark’s family state the Winterfell on Game of Thrones.
So this brings to a conclusion for the followers, a spoilers alert indicating that Winterfell will burn down bringing climax to the series. It looks like it will be no more. Could these flames be the work of the Night King or his ice dragon, Viserion. Or work of Cersei? That will be revealed only by watching the episode but whatever the story line, it will be a saddening and heart breaking news for ant one the side of House Stark.
