Flash back to a Jeopardy contestant using his final Jeopardy to tell Alex Trebek, who had advised he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer: “We ❤️ You, Alex”. It makes him nearly break down with tears of joy. 😭 RIP #AlexTrebek #Jeopardy pic.twitter.com/Jp7f10LOIB

From my 2005 appearance. As a contestant you were not allowed to interact with him except for strictly defined times but I remember how authentically charming he was with the studio audience. Loved him even more when I found out what a good friend he was of @tcm. RIP #AlexTrebek pic.twitter.com/LNshM1rc5g
