Another member of the Bachchan family joins the industry!

Surely the Bachchan family has been in the film business long before we even started walking and it looks like one more from the family has now joined the industry.

While there has been much speculation about Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli joining the movie business, for now its actually her mother and Amitabh’s oldest daughter, Shweta Bachchan making her debut alongside her father.

Shweta Bachchan was the only person yet from the family to have not appeared on screen, and is finally all set to share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming television commercial. The father-daughter duo recently shot a TVC for a jewelry brand and seemed to have a great time will doing so.

While Amitabh Bachchan looks much similar to his character in 102 Not Out, Shweta Bachchan looks young and beautiful dressed in shalwar kameez next to Amitabh Bachchan.

According to Ramesh Kalyanaraman, executive director of Kalyan Jewellers “We believe that audience will love to see the film wherein, both, Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta play the role of a father and daughter, in the ad film for the first time.” As a brand, Kalyan has always celebrated the bonds of family and relationships and the new film epitomizes family values. Shweta’s design inputs will also augment Kalyan’s chic and trendy signature collections,” he further added.

However this is not the first time Kalyan Jewellers featured members of the Bachchan Family, Aishwarya Rai and Jaya Bachchan have also previously acted in a TVC to represent the Kalyan brand.
