Amitabh Bachchan is back home after a successful angioplasty for a clot in his leg.

The 81-year-old actor was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai on Friday morning for the procedure and was discharged after successful treatment. 

However, reports earlier claimed that he received an angioplasty for his heart.

But it was later confirmed by the Indian media reports, that the procedure was not performed on his heart but rather on a clot in his leg.

Earlier in the day, as reported, Bollywood megastar Amitabh was taken to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital for “a routine check-up”.

Amitabh Bachchan on Friday shared a cryptic post on his official X account following the news of his hospitalization.

In a post on X., the actor expressed gratitude towards his social media followers.
