Bollywood Star Mithun Chakraborty’s Son Accused of Rape

Bollywood star Mithun Chakraborty’s son has been accused of rape. He was booked on Thursday for allegedly repeatedly raping an actress over a duration of three years and then forcing her into an abortion when she became pregnant.

As being reported, Oshiwara police station in Mumbai on Saturday registered a rape case against Mahaakshay after a 38-year-old woman complaint against him.

The accused named in the case also includes the actor’s former wife Yogita Bali.

The case has been registered under sections 376 (rape), 376 (2) (n) (repeated rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 417 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) and further investigation is underway.

“The complainant said she was in a relationship with Mahaakshay Chakraborty from 2015 to 2018 and during that period he had promised to marry her,” the official said.

“The woman said that during their relationship, she had gone to see Mahaakshay’s flat at Adarsh Nagar in Andheri West, which he had purchased in 2015. She said when she went there, the accused offered her a spiked soft drink and forced her to have physical relations with him,” he added.
