Following the cliched plot of anti-Pakistan propaganda, false representation of Pakistanis as Muslim terrorists and filled with jingoistic rhetoric of glorifying Indian spies, Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming Netflix show Bard of Blood is exactly what Bollywood dreams in broad daylight. But this time as SRK revealed the trailer of his cliched story on Twitter, he had one priceless response too.
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor took to Twitter and took the Bollywood king to task for once again glorifying hatred and violence in the name of nationalism.
“Stay in Bollywood syndrome iamsrk. For reality see RAW Spy Kulbhushan Jadev, Wing Comd Abhinandan & state of 27 Feb 2019,” wrote Major General as he shared Shahrukh’s tweet from his personal Twitter handle.

You could rather promote peace & humanity by speaking against atrocities in IOJ&K and against Hindituva of Nazism obsessed RSS. https://t.co/0FWqoRQsO6

“You could rather promote peace & humanity by speaking against atrocities in IOJ&K and against Hindituva of Nazism obsessed RSS,” added DG ISPR as he reminded Shahrukh of his responsibility as a star loved by both neighboring countries.
Bard of Blood is a typical Bollywood saga that revolves around heroics of an Indian spy in the world of Muslim terrorists aka Pakistanis. While SRK seems pretty excited for his Netflix endeavor, fans can already consider it a run of the mill story that is definitely not needed in this time of tension in the region.
