Late Amjad Sabri’s mother passes away in Karachi

Mother of Renowned qawwal Amjad Sabri has passed away after a prolonged illness in Karachi.

The news of her death was confirmed by late Amjad Sabri’s brother Talha Sabri.

He said that his mother had been ill for some time and passed away on Wednesday.

According to Talha, she will be laid to rest after her son Sarwat and daughter return home from abroad.

Asghari Begum was the wife of iconic Pakistani qawwal Amjad Fareed Sabri, who passed away on ‎5 April 1994, and had four children.

Amjad Sabri was her youngest son who was killed in target killing four years ago in Karachi, 22 June 2016.
