Singer-actor Meesha Shafi shared highlights from her Toronto trip on her Instagram account where she met Ms. Marvel’s Iman Vellani, Dobara Phir Se actor Ali Kazmi, and In Flames’ debut director Zarrar Kahn.
“So much talent and such heartening representation at [TIFF],” Shafi captioned her post adding a heart emoji.
“It was my pleasure to support Zarrar Kahn as he premiered his feature film directorial debut with In Flames Movie starring some phenomenal new actors and produced by the awesome Anam Abbas. Great meeting Iman Vellani who is supercool. Ali Kazmi (my brother from another mother) and I always MAX the camera up, and Asma Arshad Mahmood and I twinning in our purple kaftans, Shafi added.
