Taylor Swift Lashes Out at Trump for Misusing his Power
As America gears up for 2020 presidential elections amid the COVID-19 pandemic, President Donald Trump is being alleged of ‘putting millions of lives at risk’ by singer Taylor Swift. In her latest bombardment on Twitter, Taylor called out POTUS and team for reducing working hours of US Postal Service (USPS) and removal of letterboxes across the country, which in turn would hinder the mail-in balloting planned for this election.
“Trump’s calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly: He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president. He’s chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans’ lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power,” the 30-year old starlet tweeted on Saturday.
“Donald Trump’s ineffective leadership gravely worsened the crisis that we are in and he is now taking advantage of it to subvert and destroy our right to vote and vote safely. Request a ballot early. Vote early,” added the Cats actress.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, a provision to cast vote through the mail was established for the citizens to avoid large crowds gatherings. However, after failing to stop the mail-in ballot approval, POTUS and his government are now being accused of misusing power as they try to control USPS from facilitating in the election.
