Twinkle Khanna says Bollywood is boring!
Mrs. Funny Bones aka Akshay Kumar’s wife and a gorgeous actress of her time, Twinkle Khanna, knows how to make smart comments and stay in the limelight. Recently, at an event in Dehli, the beautiful star and now an author talked about her Pyjamas Are Forgiving, Bollywood and the ongoing #MeToo movement.

Talking about how Bollywood didn’t interest her, Khanna said, “I would be knitting on the sets of my films or reading. I was never interested in fitting in.” She also added how she found Bollywood boring and never wrote about it.
“Bollywood is boring to me. I don’t write about it in my columns or short stories because I don’t find it interesting. I have seen it and why would I write about it. It is too familiar.”
Author of two highly acclaimed books, Mrs. Funnybones and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, Twinkle Khanna is now on her third book, Pyjamas are Forgiving and hopes people remember her more for her books than her acting.
“I have worn hideous costumes and I have said terrible lines. I have danced and done all the pelvic thrusts. But I learnt how to laugh at myself and I think that is one of the reasons why I am here. Now I hope people will forget Mela and remember me for my books,” said the former actress.
