Bandish Season 2 Ep-20 Review: More of a family drama with no horror vibes

Mihahil it seems is under Farhana Chachi's spell

ARY Digital horror drama serial Bandish is down with 20 Episodes, the main issue with this serial is that having a horror plot it seems is more like a family drama with less spooky elements. Performances are all impressive but it is the spooky element we miss in this play. In the previous episode, we have seen that the necromancer seeds doubt in Sameer’s mind against his mother. In this episode, it is shown that Minahil insults Ahmer’s parents and rejects his proposal for Armaan.

Sameer gets disturbed when he hears from the necromancer that his mother is involved in the black magic practices. He is in a state of denial. However, the good thing about this is that Sameer does not believe much in what the necromancer has said to him. He acts very normal and he is cordial with his mother like before. Humaira shares with him that Ahmer’s parents are coming for Minahil’s proposal and he is happy to know that.

To our surprise, Mihanil insults Ahmer’s parents. Mihahil it seems is under Farhana Chachi’s spell otherwise she is such a sweet girl she cannot do that. Ahmer’s father loses his cool and he tells his wife not to keep any relations with Humaira otherwise he will divorce her. Minahil is resolute that she did the right thing she is not regretting and she also did that for Armaan. Farhana’s magic is working as Minahil herself calls Armaan.

Rabail is also having her share of troubles. It seems that Irsa Bhabi has got sleepwalking disorder as it seems like she knocks at Rabail’s door in the middle of the night in her sleeping suit. Rabail is terrified and she wants Hisaam to show Irsa Bhabi to the psychiatrist. Well, the question is has Hisaam really been convinced by Rabail that his bhabi is suffering from psychological complications?

Poor Humaira’s suffering seems never-ending. This time  Hoorian is being mischievous again and she is certainly under the spell she blames her dadi for beating her when in real poor Humaira has just scolded her badly. Waniya snubs Humaira for beating her daughter. Humaira is shocked as she has not beaten Hoorain. Hoorain has not stopped here when Sameer has returned from the office she complains to him about her dadi beating her. Being a father Sameer gets angry and it seems like Humaira’s position is getting weaker and weaker in the eyes of Sameer. It seems like Farahana’s black magic practices are triumphing.
