Attention K-Drama fans!

Here is the list of much anticipated Korean dramas that you can watch in June 2023.

1. Bloodhounds

Release Date: June 9

Director: Jason Kim
Cast: Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Joon Ho, Park Sung Woong.

An adaptation from the webtoon Bloodhounds created by Jeong Chan as a mini-series will hit Netflix on June 3.

Bloodhounds is a noir action drama following three young people who set foot in the world of private loans in search of money and get caught up in a huge conspiracy.

 

2. King the Land

Release Date: June 17

Director: Im Hyun-wook
Cast: Lee Joon-ho, Im Yoon-ah

The rom-com follows the story of Goo Won (Lee Jun-ho) who is the heir of The King Group, a luxury hotel conglomerate, who was thrown into an inheritance war, and Cheon Sa-rang (Im Yoon-ah), a hotelier who always has a smile on her face till she meets Goo Won.

 

3. See You in My 19th Life

Release Date: June 17

Director: Lee Na-jung
Cast: Shin Hye-sun, Ahn Bo-hyun, Ha Yoon-kyung, Ahn Dong-goo

The drama follows the story of Ban Ji-eum, a girl who has been repeating her life through reincarnation for nearly a thousand years and can remember all her past lives. After her eighteenth life is cut short due to a tragic accident, she decides to reconnect with the people of her past life in her nineteenth one.

 

4. The Devil (Revenant)

Release Date: June 23

Director: Lee Jung-rim
Cast: Kim Tae-ri, Oh Jung-se and Hong Kyung

The series revolves around a woman possessed by a devil and a man who can see the devil and seeks the truth behind the mysterious deaths.

Sounds intrigue!

Yeom Hae Sang is a Korean folklore teacher at a university with the ability to see demons. As a child, he saw his mother killed by a demon.

And When the door to another world opens, demons exist there. Ku San-Young (Kim Tae-Ri), is possessed by one of those demons.

The story will progress as they try to figure out the truth behind the mysterious deaths related to the five sacred objects.

The Devil will first air on June 23, 2023, in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday & Saturday 10 PM time slot after “Dr. Romantic 3“) and simultaneously on Disney +.

 

5. Celebrity

Release Date: June 30

Director: Kim Cheol-kyu
Cast: Park Gyu-young, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Chung-ah, Lee Dong-gun and Jun Hyo-seong

The drama will portray the aspirations and enigmas surrounding those who use social media to influence others and live as “celebrities,” as well as the ones who enviously watch them.
