Brad Pitt Takes a Dig at US Senate in his Oscars Acceptance Speech

Continuing this year’s trend, Brad Pitt once again bagged the best supporting actor award for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, as Oscars happened last night. This time too, he had a speech that left audiences laughing for its apt humor.

Taking a dig at US Senate which did not let a former Security Advisor speak this week, Pitt’s speech had a reference of John Bolton who was said to be a key witness in Trump’s impeachment.

“They said I have 45 seconds,” said the 52-year old of the time allotted for the acceptance speech.

“Which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week,” he mocked the senate.

John Bolton who was President Trump’s former national security advisor was supposed to give a testimony on the POTUS’ alleged bribery deal with Ukraine. The advisor, however, was not given a proper chance to speak by the upper house which is dominated by Republicans.
