Shamoon Abbasi has announced a sequel to his 2019 film “Durj”.

Almost five years after the original film’s release, Shamoon Abbasi makes it official that a sequel to the Durj Chapter 2: The Silence of The Caves will be arriving in theatres next year.

As reported, the sequel will be a step ahead in the life of Gul and Laali (the original film’s two main characters featuring Shamoon Abbasi and Sherry Shah), with new characters joining in the story.

Meanwhile, the cast of the upcoming film will be announced in June with a new poster.

The film is scheduled to go on floors in June this year with a tentative plan to release it in cinemas in 2025.
