Netflix has renewed ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ for two more seasons!

The series, a live-action adaptation of the hit Nickelodeon series of the same name, will conclude with Season 3.

The first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, premiered on the streaming platform on February 22.

After two weeks, the live-action adaptation series continues to hold the top spot as the No. 1 series on Netflix.

The series gained 41.1 million views in its first 11 days, ruling Netflix’s TV charts for the last two weeks.

As reported, Season 2 of the series is likely to follow a similar storyline to the Nickelodeon animated series’ second season.

Albert Kim, the series showrunner, executive producer, and writer, told Entertainment Weekly, “All three seasons of the animated series essentially take place in one calendar year.”

“There was no way we could do that. So we had to design this first season, especially, to accommodate the possibility of some time elapsing between the first and the second season.”
