Hareem Farooq, the Fabulous Showstopper for Amato Couture
Hareem Farooq is a well-known figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry, who has worked her way up the ladder of success from making her theater acting debut in 2010 to quickly taking over the television screen in 2013, followed by her directorial debut with movie ‘Janaan’ in 2015 and blockbuster ‘Parchi’ in 2018.
In the same year, Hareem also became the first female celebrity to host the popular Pakistan Super League. So it’s no wonder that in 2022, she walked the ramp for UAE-based avant-garde label, Amato Couture, the brainchild of the world-famous creative designer Furne One and textile expert Rashid Ali, which was established in 2002.

Amongst the Amato Couture’s showstoppers for the night were Nadia Ferreira – Miss Universe 1st runner and Miss Universe Paraguay 2021, Laura Olascuaga – Miss Universe Colombia 2020, Tiktok Viral Star Elvir Aljicevic, Dubai-based Influencer Charlie Albo, Emirati Youtuber Rashed Belhasa ‘Money Kicks’, Bollywood Actress and Superstar Urvashi Rautela and her younger brother Yashraj Rautela, with Hareem Farooq who was the only one chosen from Pakistan.
Having done her fair share of fashion shows, Hareem was quite comfortable backstage where her professionalism and passion to conquer the runway was difficult to miss, much before the show, titled ‘The Ambush’ even began. She practiced her ramp walk with the utmost dedication, mastering her facial expressions and carriage to perfection. And when the time came to make her international showstopper ramp walk, she conquered the runway and captured the attention of all those attending. Her poise, grace, elegance, and a confident smile lit up the room, showing the world that Hareem Farooq can truly do it all.
Hareem took to her official Instagram handle to express her gratitude for being part of the show.

“From being styled by the maestro himself @furneamato who to his credit has already designed for superstars such as lady Gaga, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, and many others to name it was no less than a privilege to wear his creation to @carlafuentes_official beautiful makeup to the kindred spirits that were my support system on the day @ssultan89 @ghaznahsoomro @faiskap @fatimahharoon this experience has been surreal. It made me realize that I may not be born to fit a mold but I can rock the absolute heck out of it. I can also proudly say that this has left me feeling more empowered and I cannot wait for equally amazing opportunities to proudly represent my Pakistan all across the globe! Onward and upward!” she added.
