HUM Masala Celebrates 14th Anniversary

Karachi, October 24, 2020: South Asia’s first and Pakistan’s only 24-hour cooking channel HUM Masala celebrated its 14th anniversary in a special transmission on October 24, 2020. The immense popularity of HUM Masala is not limited to the South Asian region only being the first Pakistani culinary TV channel to broadcast in the UK and other countries around the globe.

The live anniversary transmission was attended by Pakistan’s top chefs and celebrities including Bushra Ansari, Javed Sheikh, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Saife Hassan, Kiran Haq, Misbah Mumtaz, Srha Asghar, Shireen Anwar, Kiran Khan, Zarnak Sidhwa, Samina Jaleel, Rida Aftab, Irfan Haider, Abida Baloch, and others.

Sultan of swing Wasim Akram along with his beautiful wife Shaniera Akram also joined in the celebrations via a video link and congratulated HUM Masala on completing 14 successful years on the air. All the guests took part in cooking competitions and interacted with live callers. The event culminated with President HUM Network Sultana Siddiqui, CEO Duraid Qureshi, SEVP Ather Viqar Azeem, and guests cutting the anniversary cake with the HUM Masala crew.
