Music Icon Gloria Estefan Revamps Her 80s Song for COVID-19 Awareness
Cuban-American music star of Miami, Gloria Estefan has revamped her 80s popular song Get On Your Feet to better suit today’s world and propagate awareness on the Coronavirus pandemic.
Taking it to Instagram, the starlet shared the latest version of her song now titled Put On Your Mask with a video. In the video, the 62-year old is seen combating real-life situations during the ongoing pandemic as she urges people to maintain social distancing and observe precautions to avoid contracting the virus.
“I wanted to contribute something that would put a bit of humor into a very serious situation because that’s what has helped me get through the toughest moments in my life,” Gloria wrote on social media.
“I hope I make you smile while imparting an important message!” she added alongside the video that has been viewed over 80,000 times.
