Sui gas supply in parts of Karachi is likely to remain suspended on Dec 24 from 9 am to 8 pm!
The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in a statement, issued on Friday notified that the gas supply company would be carrying out a gas distribution infrastructure development task on December 24 (Sunday), which would result in the suspension of gas to some parts.
“The SSGC will be carrying out a gas distribution infrastructure development job that will involve installing a 16″ dia. isolation valve on 20″ dia, C-station main in main Ibrahim Hyderi, Cantonment Korangi Creek,” the company said.
The statement further elaborated that to carry out this “indispensable” task, the gas supply will remain suspended in Korangi’s industrial and residential areas from 9 am to 8 pm.
At the same time, for around 13 hours, gas supply will also remain suspended in parts of the Defence Housing Authority.
SSGC empathised that “inconvenience is regretted.”
