Govt. Increases Petrol Price By Rs2.13 Per Litre

The government has increased the petrol price by Rs2.13 per litre for the remaining 15 days of the month of June 2021.
After the increase in prices, one litre will now cost Rs110.69.
According to the notification issued by Finance Ministry on Tuesday, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs1.79, taking it to Rs112.55, while light diesel costs Rs79.68. Kerosene oil now costs Rs81.89 after an increase of 89 paisas.
The prices will be enforced for 15 days starting June 16.

According to the details garnered, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has recommended hiking petrol price by Rs4.20 per liter on Monday.
The Ogra also proposed to increase the prices of high-speed diesel by Rs3.50.
However, the petrol prices have increased by 2.13%, HSD by 1.79%, kerosene by 1.89%, and light diesel by 2.03%
