Govt reduces petrol price by Rs2.4 per litre
New prices—Petrol: Rs 281.34/litre, HSD: Rs 296.71/litre
The interim government reduced the petrol price by Rs2.4 per litre for the remaining days of the month of November.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs6.47 per litre, while the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil are reduced by Rs6.05 and 9.01, respectively.
The new prices came into effect from midnight on November 16 and remain in place till November 30.

The Finance Division in a statement said that the rates of petroleum products were slashed by up to Rs9.01 on the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
