Roads leading to PTI chief Imran Khan’s residence in Lahore blocked

Roads leading to PTI chief Imran Khan’s residence in Lahore remained blocked on Thursday.

The Canal Road has been blocked on both sides while Thandi Sarak was also closed to traffic as well.

Sources claim that a ‘Grand operation’ is expected against ‘terrorists’ hiding in Zaman Park as the deadline ended.

As reported, the situation around former prime minister Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore is calm so far.

The Punjab government gave a 24-hour ultimatum to the PTI to hand over the “terrorists” who had taken refuge in the former prime minister’s home.

The Punjab government had given the PTI a 2 pm deadline which has now ended.

On the other hand,  PTI has again invited the media to Zaman Park to cover the “search operation order given by the illegal caretaker government”.

“Media should come, see and let people see the reality as yesterday’s plan was exposed by PML-N’s representatives themselves on live TV,” the party said.

Punjab Caretaker Information Minister Amir Mir Wednesday night said that the provincial government has no plans so far of arresting PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

“First let the 24-hour deadline expire then the government will reveal its plans,” the provincial minister said while making an appearance on Geo News‘ program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath”.
