Two more cases of sexual assault have surfaced from Pattoki Tehsil of Kasur on Wednesday.

According to Police, a resident of Pattoki filed a complaint against suspects Ramesh, Ashfaq, Nazim and two others involved in the alleged rape of his brother.

The complainant also told the police the suspects took inappropriate photos and videos of his brother and were continually threatening him.

So far the police have apprehended three suspects in this regard and also recovered the unsuitable video while the search for two more suspects is underway.

In another case of child abuse in Pattoki, police took into the custody of a suspect named Babar for allegedly abusing a seven-year-old from the Mandianwala area.

Earlier, on Tuesday police arrested three accused over the alleged sexual assault, filming, and blackmailing of a teenage boy in Pattoki city of Punjab.

In a First Information Report (FIR) registered on Sunday, five suspects were nominated, in which three were arrested by police on Tuesday. Efforts are underway to arrest the remaining two suspects.

The complaint was registered by the victim’s father who told the police that his teenage boy had been continually subjected to sodomy at gunpoint and were also threatened by the five suspects over the past two-and-a-half years.

Police officials told media that one of the suspects has also been named in a separate FIR filed by another complainant, who claimed that his brother was also subjected to sexual assault by the same suspect.

It is worth noting that 126 child sexual abuse cases were registered in the last seven months, Punjab police said.
