Fast and the Furious Director Rob Cohen Accused of Sexual Assault

Fast and the Furious famed director Rob Cohen has been accused of sexual assault by an unnamed victim. HuffPost reported that Jane (a fictional name) met Cohen four years ago in Manhattan for a business meeting, where she was called for a TV pilot collaboration.

The victim alleged that the director intoxicated her and when she woke up she found that Cohen was assaulting her. She then went for medical treatment and also told two close friends of the incident immediately.

Cohen’s attorney responded to HuffPost’s questionnaire on the matter and denied it as “outrageous defamatory [allegation].

“Making extraordinarily offensive assertions that my client engaged in heinous sexual misconduct, criminal wrongdoing, and other inappropriate behavior, which are vehemently disputed and denied by my client,” said the attorney statement.

Earlier in February 2019, Cohen’s daughter Valkyrie Weather accused him of sexually molesting her when she was a child and taking her to see sex workers as a teenager. Cohen denied those allegations as well.

In addition to helming Fast and Furious 2001 installment, Cohen is also known as the director of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008).
