Babar Azam tops ICC’s T20I batting tables
Babar Azam continues to top ICC’s T20I batting tables after having an electrifying 2021 with the bat!
The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the T20 International batting tables featuring Pakistan skipper Babar Azam at the top spot.
Babar scored 939 runs at 37.56, with a strike rate of 127.58, aided by a successful tour of South Africa in April, ICC said.
Babar has been ranked number 1 in both T20I and ODI rankings going into the final nine days of 2021.
Babar’s 79 from 53 balls against the West Indies in a recent match in Karachi helped him move back to the top spot, outpacing Aiden Markram and Dawid Malan.
While Mohammad Rizwan has moved up on the third spot.
