Sajid Khan rips through Bangladesh securing innings defeat to the host

Sajid Khan rips through Bangladesh helping Pakistan secure innings defeat to the host in the second test in Dhaka on Wednesday.

It’s a 2-0 series win for Babar Azam’s team as Bangladesh was bowled out for 205, innings and eight runs win for Pakistan!

As the game started on Wednesday after rain played spoilsport on two consecutive days,  right-arm off-break bowler Sajid Khan single-handedly propelled Pakistan into the driving seat.

Sajid Khan took six quick wickets on Day 4 and then two again the following day, finishing with a record eight wickets haul (15-4-42-8).

Pakistan bowled out Bangladesh for 87 and enforce the follow-on.

Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam kept the hopes alive for his team but Sajid Khan finally got his wicket. 

Sajid Khan was named Player of the Match while Abid Ali became Player of the Test Series.  

Bangladesh made 87 & 205 respectively in both innings, while Pakistan put on 300 runs on the scoreboard in its first innings.  

Pakistan becomes the first team in history to take 13 wickets to win on the last scheduled day of a 5-day Test match.
