United registers a comfortable victory against Qalandars in the PSL9 opening match

Islamabad United registered a comfortable victory against Lahore Qalandars in the PSL9 opening match on Saturday.

Islamabad United had won the toss and opted to field first against Lahore Qaalandars in the first match of the ninth edition of the PSL played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

While chasing a big total of 196 on a batting-friendly track under lights, United were comfortably home in the 19th over.

The evening saw Shadab Khan score a blazing, unbeaten 74 off 41 balls, studded with six fours and five sixes, on the other end, Salman Ali Agha scored a breezy 64 not out off 31 (seven fours and three sixes) that powered team United to a comfortable eight-wicket win against Qalandars.
