Pakistan Gets First Locally Assembled MG Car

Pakistan has gotten its first locally assembled MG car!

The update was shared by Javed Afridi, a key stakeholder in MG Pakistan.

In a tweet shared on Wednesday, Javed Afridi announced, “ALHAMDULILLAH FIRST LOCALLY PRODUCED MG CAR ON THE WHEELS NOW”.

As reported earlier, MG will be building two assembly factories in Pakistan, each of which will be capable of domestically constructing Electric Vehicles (EVs) for the Pakistani market.

In an interview with a UAE-based mainstream media outlet, Javed Afridi shared that MG Motors is planning to build a second EV assembly plant in Karachi. The plant will cater to exports to markets that require right-handed E-Vs.
