The Wildlife Department seeks action after back-to-back wildfire videos involving TikTokers emerge!
As reported, the Islamabad Wildlife Board has identified both the youth behind starting the Margala hills fire and vowed to take action against them.
According to the officials said that TikTokers made these videos only to gain some likes, shares, and views.
The Wildlife Department has proposed strict penalties for fire spread in forests in the line with Australia’s law where violators get life imprisonment.
The recent TikTok videos featuring wildfire in the background of the notorious TikTokers have left the netizens furious.

In the latest development, the Islamabad Police have registered a case against TikToker Dolly for setting fires in the Maragalla forest on the complaint of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) under wildlife and environment protection laws.
The FIR has been filed under Landscape Act 1966, Forest Act 1927, Environment Protection Act 1927, and sections 188 and 425 of the PPC.
Humaira Asghar aka Dolly, who has more than 11 million followers on TikTok, posted a video clip of herself walking playfully in a silver ball gown in front of a burning hillside.
The video drew the ire of netizens with the caption: “Fire erupts wherever I am.”
This is a disturbing & disastrous trend on Tik Tok! Young people desperate 4 followers are setting fire to our forests during this hot & dry season! In Australia it is lifetime imprisonment for those who start wildfires. We need to introduce similar legislation @WildlifeBoard pic.twitter.com/RGMXnbG9f1

Subsequently, within hours after the video was uploaded, it was taken down from the application after the TikTok star faced backlash for posting a video of a forest fire in Islamabad’s Margalla Hills.
Video-sharing application TikTok in a statement on Wednesday said that any content that promotes “dangerous” or “illegal” behavior was a violation of its community guideline.
In a statement issued today, the spokesperson of TikTok said that the application was working to “remove, limit or label content that depicts dangerous or illegal acts”.
“We remain vigilant in our commitment to user safety and encourage everyone to exercise caution and responsibility in their behavior whether online or off,” he added.
If The Margalla Hills were deliberately set on fire by the model TikToker Dolly for shooting the TikTok video.
