Twitter in uproar after Karan Johar & Ekta Kapoor were honoured with the Padma Shri award
Twitter is in uproar after Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor were honoured with the Padma Shri award on Monday evening.
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and singer Adnan Sami Khan were among others awarded Padma Shri awards by Indian President Ram Nath Kovind in Delhi on Monday.
However, the Indian netizens seem to be least impressed by the representation of Bollywood for the prestigious award.
Many were left scratching their heads to find out the reason why the above-mentioned Bollywood celebs were considered for this year’s honours.
The fact they were only two recipients who represented bollywood fraternity at the Padma Awards ceremony this year is so funny to me..
