Ali Zafar has something to say about the new PSL anthem ‘Tayyar Hain’
Its been five years to the amazing franchise of PSL. The Pakistan Super League has become a hot favorite not amongst Pakistanis as well but around the world as some good quality cricket is showcased every year for a month.
Starting back in 2016, when PSL wasn’t as big a platform as it is now, the first official anthem of the league was sung by Pakistani singer cum actor Ali Zafar and for two years Zafar continued to be the voice of PSL.
His second song “Ab khel jamay ga” became an instant hit with the audience and everyone just fell in love with not only the song but its lively picturization and Zafar’s vocals more than ever.
Although Zafar has sung two more PSL anthems by PCB over the course of the league, none has enjoyed the popularity and love as “Ab khel jamay ga”.
Last year when Fawad Khan sang the anthem for the fourth edition of PSL, comparisons were made instantly with people pointing out how Ali Zafar’s had been the best.
This year too, the latest PSL anthem, Tayyar Hain, has brought about similar comparisons and although we absolutely like this latest song too, we cannot help but state that Ali Zafar had created a more engaging song for the league.
And it is not only us, but there have also been other fans who have let Zafar known that they miss him when it comes to PSL anthems. And therefore, thanking his fans for the love and support, Ali Zafar recently took to his Twitter to share what he thought about the latest PSL anthem.
“Dear All, As much as I am thankful for your love and support always, I would urge you all to remain equally appreciable towards efforts by all other artists. We are all one big family. So it is PSL. The latest PSL anthem, Tayyar Hain, has been sung by Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Haroon and Asim Azhar. Composed by Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, the song is a vibrant number, which will instantly click with the listeners.
