Harry returns to UK without pregnant Meghan to attend grandfather’s funeral

Prince Harry has arrived in the UK without pregnant Meghan for Prince Philip’s funeral.

This is Duke’s first visit to Britain since quitting royal duties and the couple’s bombshell Oprah interview.

The Duke of Sussex will attend the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh alongside his family on April 17.

As per media reports, Prince Harry was spotted at London Heathrow Airport on Sunday at 1.15 pm without his wife Meghan Markle.

Duke of Sussex was seen disembarking a British Airways Flight from LA to the west London airport in a black face mask.

He was reportedly driven to Kensington Palace a black Range Rover by the security he met boarding off the plane.

Media reports claim that Prince Harry is thought to be quarantining at Nottingham Cottage, and he will join the royal family after five days rather than 10 if he provides a negative coronavirus test under the Government’s Test to Release scheme. 

Sources close to Harry and Meghan claim that former Suits actress Meghan wanted to join Harry but was advised against travelling by her physician because she is around six months pregnant with their second child – a daughter, due this summer.

Prince Harry is unlikely to wear a military uniform at his grandfather’s funeral as he was formally stripped of his royal titles earlier this year, – but can keep his medals on.

The funeral will take place this coming Saturday, April 17, and will include a small procession through Windsor castle.  It is expected that the world will see The Queen and the royals gathered together at this time.

Reportedly, every part of Prince Philip’s funeral has been arranged in line with his own wishes, which he made clear before he died. 

It will be broadcast live.
