Jacquin Phoenix Urges People to Go Vegan and Eradicate Animal Cruelty

Oscar award winner Jacquin Phoenix has been quite a vocal advocate against animal cruelty and now he has joined hands with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for its new campaign.

In a video message shared by People Magazine, the Joker actor has urged his fans to adopt a vegan diet like the actor himself.

“There’s so much pain in the world that we are powerless over, but being party to animal suffering is not one of them,” says the 46-year old actor.

“It’s easy to escape personal responsibility by actively avoiding the truth. But I hope you will join me in rejecting animal cruelty,” the Oscar winner adds.

In its latest campaign against animal abuse, PETA’s campaign has highlighted an egg farm in US where overcrowding and extreme cruel conditions for animals were revealed.
