Karan Johar’s Birthday was Filled with Star-Studded Wishes!

The king of Bollywood romance, Karan Johar turned 47 yesterday and social media soared with wishes from almost all the big names of Indian cinema. From veterans Rishi Kapoor to budding star Ayushman Khurrana, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director received wishes from left, right and center.

Actor Rishi Kapoor who is in New York currently for his treatment, was amongst the first ones to wish Karan.

“This is wishing Karan Johar a very Happy Birthday. God Bless! You are such a riot to sit with and listen. Enjoy New York!,” wrote Rishi who had also met Karan prior to his birthday celebration in New York.

Bollywood diva, Madhuri Dixit Nene also wished the Kalank actor on Twitter.

“Wishing you a very Happy Birthday dearest Karan Johar. I hope this year is filled with loads of happiness, love and good health,” wrote the actress.

Following the pursuit, actors Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor also wished the aced director.

“Happy Birthday to the ultimate party starter. You bring so much energy wit and love to everyone around you and I hope you have a great birthday,” wrote Sonam.


“Happy-Birthday-My-Family,” Alia captioned a picture of herself with Karan.

Actor Arjun Kapoor and girlfriend Malaika Arora also wished the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham director.

While Arjun called Karan ‘love guru’, Malaika posted more than a few selfies with the director who happens to be her buddy.

Wishing a very happy birthday to the love guru himself! @karanjohar, you make dreams come true everyday!” wrote Arjun on his Twitter.


“May we forever pout and pose. Happy birthday my dear super generous and loving Karan Johar,” Malaika had to say in her Instagram story.

Singer turned actor Ayushman Khurrana gave a simplistic wish to the producer of many hit films.


“Happy bday Karan Johar. Keep inspiring,” wrote the Vicky Donor actor.
