Nick Jonas opens up about his engagement with Priyanka Chopra
American singer Nick Jonas opened up about is engagement to Priyanka Chopra while he made an appearance at “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Friday night, meanwhile his fiancé Priyanka Chopra was watching sitting in the audience. The singer shared the details about the couple’s recent trip to India that they took, for their engagement.
Jonas also explained to the American viewers about the traditional Roka ceremony saying that “it is a confirmation from both sides of the family that they approve of the engagement.”
“We both left that ceremony so full of joy,” Jonas said, also sharing that his parents were “blown away by the love shared among all the people.” Jonas also mentioned that celebration was “a little different from Jersey”.
He also shared how he actually met up with Priyanka, being introduced by a friend. They shared text messages before meeting in person. When the host of the show, Fallon asked if the couple had a celebrity nick name, Jonas joked that Priyanka Chopra liked “Prick”, the late-night host right at the spot advised the couple to refrain from using that name.
