Priyanka Chopra to star alongside Richard Madden
After the success of her Bollywood film The Sky Is Pink, Priyanka Chopra Jonas will now appear alongside Richard Madden in the U.S. edition of Citadel.
The U.S. edition will be an Anthony and Joe Russo’s global thriller multi-series to be produced in conjunction with programs from several other countries.
“The idea is to create a truly global, action-packed spy series,” Amazon Studios chief Jennifer Salke said.
“It’s a totally innovative, multifaceted international approach to storytelling, and we can’t wait to tell you more as it comes together,” she added further.

Local-language productions are being done in Italy, India, and Mexico. According to the Amazon, the U.S. version will be the “mothership” of the project, and production will begin this summer.

The other Citadel productions will “enhance the experience of engaging with the show,” Salke said.
