69-year-old Hollywood star Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva, 35, have welcomed a baby boy in New York City a few days ago. This good news shared by a representative of the actor with the Cable News Network on Monday. While the date of birth, the name of the child or any further details were not shared.

This is celebrity couple’s first child together, though they both have children from their previous relationships. Gere is also dad to 19-year-old son, Homer, from his marriage to actress Carey Lowell. Silva also shares a 6-year-old son with her ex Govind Friedland, according to a news source.

It was last year in April, when Gere and Silva, made into headlines when they secretly wed in a small civil ceremony after dating each other for four years. After which Richard Gere threw a lavish party to celebrate their nuptials.
